SA names 12 for ACB Cup match against ACT
South Australian Cricket Association - 26 November 2002

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) has named a 12-man squad for the ACB Cup match against the ACT's second XI to commence on Monday, December 2.

Ben Higgins will captain the side, which includes Redbacks rookie Matthew Weeks, and Redbacks fast bowler Mike Smith, in his first four-day game since recovering from a knee injury.

Medium pace bowler Jamie Panelli has been selected for his ACB Cup match debut, after outstanding performances for Kensington Grade Cricket Club.

Completing the SA squad are: Nathan Adcock, Daniel Harris, Mark Harrity, Graham Manou, Lachlan Stevens, Shaun Tait, Jeff Vaughan and Brad Young.

All 12 players will be involved in the game.

The match will be played on Manuka Oval in the ACT, and runs from Monday, December 2 to Thursday, December 5.

Redbacks assistant coach, Jamie Siddons, will coach the side.
