Zimbabwe v India 2000-01
Wisden CricInfo staff - October 8, 2002

At Harare, June 24. India won by nine wickets. Toss: India.
Streak returned to lead Zimbabwe, having won a seat on the selectors' panel, and the most immediate result was the recall of left-arm seamer Bryan Strang, the players' choice. Here the good news for Zimbabwe ended. The pitch, watered too liberally after being used the previous day, was still damp, which exaggerated the advantage of winning the toss. Inevitably, Zimbabwe lost it. When five wickets tumbled in the first 13 overs to the delighted Indian seamers, the contest was as good as over. Ganguly continued his run of poor form from the Tests, but Badani, promoted after Laxman injured a finger in the field, added 135 with Tendulkar, who looked at ease from beginning to end. That came with 23 overs to spare. Man of the Match: S. R. Tendulkar.
