2004 Wisden Almanack review
There was continued growth of clubs in all the cricketing regions of Germany in 2003: a new association, the North Rhine-Westphalia Cricket Union, was formed and got into its stride with the benefit of a new artificial pitch in Bonn. In the European B Under-15 tournament, Maxi Hook of Tegernsee CC became, at 14, the first native-born German ever to score a century at any level of international youth cricket when he made 103 not out in the group game against Spain.
