CricInfo once again joined forces with Jagged Internetworks and RBN to provide live multimedia coverage of England's 1997-98 tour of the West Indies. See and hear the multimedia archives!

An event-packed 1998 England tour to the Caribbean began in abortive fashion at Sabina Park, Kingston, with the resultant rescheduling leading to the West Indies' first-ever six-Test series at home. Both sides exchanged victories in two exciting finishes before the West Indian dominance became complete, retaining the Wisden Trophy and winning the Test series 3-1. It was a series that made the reputation of one captain - Brian Lara - and broke the reputation of another - Mike Atherton.

The final weeks of the tour saw a five-match one-day international series. England, under captain Adam Hollioake, extended their limited-overs winning streak to nine by winning the first match, only to fall to superior West Indian batting and bowling firepower in the remaining four games.
