Spain’s cricketing potential cannot be fulfilled while it remains an Affiliate, without the crucial funding given to Associates. New clubs have sprouted across Spain, primarily on the Costa del Sol. And the Festival of Cricket to celebrate the opening of the superb new La Manga cricket facility saw the national team compete in a Twenty20 tournament organised by the Club Cricket Conference.
